A large proportion of the work we currently undertake involves commercial timber operations throughout Strathspey, Morayshire, Banffshire and Aberdeenshire.

Some of the services we can provide include; Brashing, Tidying Birch or Rowan, Thinning, First-Thinnings, Site Marking, Large Diameter Felling, Snedding, Boundary Marking, Roadside Felling, Cut-to-length Logging, Roadline Clearance, Fell-to-Waste, Felling for Harvester and Site Prep Work, cutting out Loading Bays etc.

We also undertake Hardwood thinnings, Clearance or Tidying, normally for estate firewood or standing sale customers. For woodland owners that do not currently have forestry consultants, we may be able to advise best practice, arrange sale of timber, site supervision or arrange forestry consultancy and management services on your behalf.

When working in the forest we normally work a minimum two-man team, although we can make one man available to assist harvesting when required. We are also able to organise extraction, harvesting and other specialist services.

When carrying out this kind of intensive forestry work, safety is paramount. Recognising this, we have several policies in place to ensure that all our chainsaw operatives use and wear correct PPE, are First Aid trained and fully qualified through the City & Guilds NPTC programme. We are fully insured, currently holding 5M Public Liability Insurance and 10M Employers Liability Insurance.
Most members of our team are experienced acting as Site Safety Supervisors.

The current squad is 5-strong and growing.
If you would like more information, or to find out about availability and costs please contact us for friendly and professional service. We are happy to take on one-day jobs through to larger multiple-week contracts.
